"Doctor Y And The Prescriptions" is the newest of two Southside of Chicago Bands started by

Dr. Kenneth Joseph Yerkes. 

"Doctor Y," whose Original Band, "The YNUTS," performed in the South Suburbs of Chicago, and has performed in Palos Park

 Palos Heights, Hometown, Oak Lawn and other neighboring suburbs of Chicago, including Chicago.

"The YNUTS" played at a number of venues, including Hackney's in Palos Park, Hometown Tap in Hometown, St. Gerald Carnival Music Fest, in Oak Lawn, and Mister Moe's and

Mama Vesuvio's East in Palos Heights.
